Hi, My name is Nicolas Fogelholm and I maintain this web site that has been online since the year 2000 (when the Internet was young and nobody knew of Kitewings). The original idea of this site was to collect everything on windpowered wintersports with a focus on new and innovative action and extreme sports. The original idea still exists, but the focus of today is kitewing sailing. The forum of this site is also dedicated to this action sport.
I myself am a "weekend" kitewinger and no pro like other people here in our community (Forum). Years ago when kitewingin was a new and unknown sport I actually participated in the Winter and Ice Sailing World Champions (Kitewing class). Today the competition is much harder :-).You can send ideas, comments and questions to contact "at" windsports.net or express yourself on the forum and pleasse share your winter sailing photos with us (upload them to the gallery).
